I was not able to see my own dr. who was on vacation, and Dr. Mbuyi was covering. I had a problem with swelling in both ankles, and Dr. Mbuyi just looked at them and said "Oh, you have gout". There were no blood tests or other tests recommended and he gave me a prescription for a month's worth of medication. His manner was very arrogant, and he treated me like I was next to nothing. Perhaps this attitude was due to the fact that I am a female, but I was certainly not impressed with his manner towards me. If I want to see my own doctor whenever I go to this clinic for an appointment and my own dr is not available, I will ask to see anyone else besides Dr. Mbuyi.

The one time that I was treated by Dr. Mbuyi, in the absence of my own physician, I found him to be condesending, did not sit and look me in the face when I was explaining my problem, towering over me. He prescribed medication that I did not need, which was at great cost to AHS and myself, and I felt he treated me like I was not worth anything.
