We have been seeing Dr. Forooghian for the last 2 years in regards's to our 10 year old daughter's uveitis. We were very unhappy with our previous opthomologist and cannot express how lucky we are that we switched to this doctor. Our daughter who as a autoimmune disorder, was immediately put on the right medication and is in remission for the last year due to this doctor's close monitoring and constant adjustment. We have waiting as well for long times, but it has been worth it. We are very happy with his service.

I was treated for two years for uveitis. I was given steroid injections in the eyes. Dr talked about other medication options but never gave me any. He kept saying it was autoimmune but was not treating me properly. Finally after almost two years of pill steroids or horrible injections in my eyes...I asked him to please refer me to a rheumatologist. He refused and told me to go to my GP for a referral. All I got from him was cataracts and a retinal tear from repeated eye injections. His ego got in the way of my care. Any uveitis specialist should know prolonged steroid use for autoimmune uveitis is not a proper treatment. I know have a decent ophthalmologist and rheumatologist who are managing my uveitis. I do not recommend this man for autoimmune uveitis. I think he is dangerous and ill informed.

Dr. Foroughian is fantastic. He has helped our 8 year old daughter with her serious eye problem by making immediate changes to her current medication, as a result of which she has been symptom-free. Yes, the wait is sometimes a little bit long, but its worth it as he very knowledgable, honest and extremely helpful. Highly recommmend him!

Frustrated
Most frustrating. Every appoint I've had its been an hour or more wait. Last time after an hour I walk out. That's it. I appreceiate your a doc. and went to school for years and your time is important, but I have plans too. I must say though he is very through and a very nice doctor but this waiting has got to stop, I'll wait 15 - 30 min, I understand some problems need more time but really.....
