BE CAUTIOUS OF DR. E, SHE DOESN'T LOOK AT THE WHOLE PICTURE. SHE RUSHES YOU WITH HER DECISIONS, MAKES ONLY HER DECISION AND DOES NOT LISTEN TO WHAT IS GOING ON WITH HER PATIENT. IN MY OPINION, SHE SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING.

I am very concerned that this doctor is a practising psychiatrist. I've seen this doctor approximately 5 or 6 times and each time I left feeling even more depressed and anxious than the last time I'd seen her. I feel completely unheard and not cared about by this "doctor". She doesn't seem to have any empathy for her patients, or any real understanding of mental health issues for that matter! She could almost be described as rude and insensitive. I also really question her knowledge about antidepressant medications and anti-anxiety medications such as benzodiazepines (which she advised me to quit cold turkey after being on them for 10 years). I ended up requesting that my file be closed - frankly, my GP knows more than she does.

I have found Dr. E. to be slightly obstinate when it comes to my medical care. As an example, I wanted a refill of my Rx a few days early, and for some reason when the pharmacy contacted her, she was adamant about not getting refills until the 30 day period. I simply wanted a refill early for convenience sake. During stays in hospital, Dr. E. seems to make decisions just to see if I react. I've talked to other patients of hers, and I'm seeing a pattern with Dr. E. She's not very helpful. Rarely empathizes. And tends to talk while I'm talking, to the point, where I feel interrupted and unheard. Possibly her personal feelings enter into her decisions. She's not very objective with her care.
