I was really sick when I first saw Dr. Boffa. I was homeless and paranoid, but I didn't think I was sick. He stuck with me even when I was abusive. Thank God he stuck with me, I'm in a different place now, and I finally have hope for the future.

Long time patient
Dr. Boffa is a very realiable, professional Doctor. He gets to know his patients as a person and really tries to help by listening always. Very trustworthy. Only using medication to help relieve symptoms. Works with his patient about medications and side effects and never forces medications. Takes the time to ask questions and answer any questions you may have. Helps a person as a whole. Always very supportive. Will take the effort to understand first and offer helpful advice. I have found that Dr. Boffa is a very kind person. He does not give up on people and is there through the highs and lows of a person's illness. Always willing to offer his help and make referrals to better the lives of his patients. The team he works with are very nice and supportive as well.

The worst doctor ever. Likes to dope patients with antipsychotics for the rest of their lives regardless of age

My mother is being managed by this physician. He does not know how to read referrals from other psychiatrists, and like many doctors, thinks that his opinion is the only opinion. My mother is currently presenting with stroke-like symptoms and pseudoparkinsonism. This idiot prescribed asa 650mg every 4 hours for her. Did he think about the dopamine depletion mentioned in Dr. Gendeman's referral letter and to start her on sinemet to correct it? No, that would have admitted stupidity on Dr. Boffa's part, so instead Dr. Boffa order's a pain masker instead of addressing the actual problem. Go deliver flyers and quit calling yourself a doctor, Dr. Boffa. Thanks.
