Very inconsiderate to the patients condition. Does not wait until you finish asking a question. Ignores or does not answer questions. Does not know how to write prescriptions - went to pharmacy to fill a prescription he wrote and he had not completed it properly and according to the pharmacists every precription he had received from Dr. Fonberg that night (and there were many) none of the them were correct. Do not trust this Dr. Bedside manner needs a lot of work!

This doctor has a terrible bedside manner and basically treated me like my visit to the emergency ward was senseless. He said that he had much more important patients to treat and that he couldn't do what I wanted. He very patronizingly said that he didn't have time to sit and give me a massage (which is not what I was asking for - I needed some relief from a finger that got stuck in a shut position) He told me that he could only freeze it and try to snap it open because he had stabbing and gun shot victims to treat instead of me, who is also paying his wages.The pain was extremely intense and I didn't know if I could handle the pain of snapping my finger open and didn't know what to do. He very condescendingly said that he didn't have time to do what I want. I'd recommend not going to Centenary Rouge Valley at all so that you don't have to get 'treated' by this doctor.

Worst bedside manner ever! Very condescending! Took my son to the emergency at Rouge Vakley. Barely looked me and my wife in the eyes. When he told us what is wrong with our son, he was walking away. My wife did not hear what he said and when my wife asked him ti repeat, he said..."he had a virus. Have you heard that word before? Do you what that word is?"....I almost grabbed the closest object to me and hit him with it! What an a-hole.

Dr. Eric Fonberg was our Family Physician many years ago. He was unequivocally the best doctor our Family has had. After leaving his Family practice, his recommendation is still my Physician. Dr. Fonberg also took care of my terminally ill Mother. He was absolute in every aspect with the delivery of care for an in-home palliative care patient. My BP was well controlled by Dr. Fonberg and my wife's ailments were very well addressed with the correct medication and referrals
