I was referred to this surgeon by a renowned specialist for gallbladder surgeries. I was initially leery but when this specialist told me that he himself would allow this young surgeon to remove his gallbladder, my apprehension was abated. When I first consulted with him he was kind and humble. He effectively answered all my questions. He modestly answered an embarrassing question about the number of gallbladder surgeries that resulted in complications. The answer was zero and although it was hard at the time to comprehend how it was possible to have so many perfect outcomes now it is incredibly apparent. I was walking around the day after my surgery and 3 days later I had no discomfort. I would recommend this surgeon to everyone. I have seen the recovery of other patients who used different doctors and I can't help feel sorry for patients who used surgeons other than Dr. Shlomovitz.

Dr. Shlomovitz is such a nice, humble guy who really has a feel for his vocation. He provided exemplary healthcare, meaning "real, do-able solutions to my gastro-intestinal dilemmas." Without wanting to get into details of my situation, he found something unusual that existed within me via endoscopy that no other doctors have spotted for nearly two decades and had several specialists involved to provide surgery. My insides are looking better than before, thanks to Dr. Shlomovitz's keen eye.

Dr. Eran Shlomovitz is a fabulous surgeon. He along with his team, did great work on my POEM surgery for Achalasia in late June 2020. For the first time in over a year and a half, I can now eat and drink properly with no discomfort or regurgitation of foods. Everyone was kind, understanding and completely professional. Dr Shlomovitz performed POEM Surgery on me in early October for what was a severe case of achalasia. He is an amazing health care provider. He and his entire team ensured I was well informed, comfortable and had realistic expectations for outcomes. The entire surgical team at UHN was FABULOUS.
