Dr. Salih is, or until very recently was the only neurologist in an area servicing approximately 100,000 people. His rating should be much higher but he works within what seems to be a very clumsy system! If anyone is not satisfied then they should pray for a miracle because I have had exactly the right care.

After struggling to get a proper diagnosis for over a decade, my husband and I were both able to get in to see Dr. Salih. Not only did Dr. Salih listen to us and not brush us off as exaggerating, he examined us both and finally gave us each a diagnosis. Not once did he say "you're so young" like many doctors before him, he was polite and professional. He addressed our concerns with medication and assured us he would properly manage our medication to effectively treat our conditions and not turn us into addicts. Shortly after our first appointment I got pregnant and when I called to inquire as to the safety of my medication during pregnancy I was given an appointment for the next day. Unfortunately, on my way to my appointment I took a wrong turn and ended up two hours away. I called to let them know and without judgement, was given another appointment date at which time Dr. Salih changed my medication to a safer one that just happened to work better. Dr. Salih has always been polite and professional at our appointments, we have three young children that go everywhere with us. Dr. Salih has always been perfectly OK with our children accompanying us to our appointments and always takes the time to acknowledge them. I would recommend him to anyone, the only "complaint" I have is that the hospital won't allow him to see me in regards to my epilepsy and I think being treated by one specialist for two neurological problems would be ideal as there would be no room for a miscommunication between specialists.

In the beginning of seeing this doctor, I found him quite rude, and since having no choice of a specialist accept him in this small town I was stuck. He became very distrusting after telling him I had Jewish ancestry, soon after our relationship changed. I have a spinal cord injury in which this doctor had been prescribing pain medication and medical marijuana. After a short time in the hospital there was some mix up with pain medication. And then being in a head on collision I needed more pain medication, he then stated he was no longer interested in having me as a patient. Since he is Muslim priest, I believe him to be prejudice. He now has left me in a very vulnerable position. since moved to a new city, I now have no medication and no doctor. Now he has put me into a very serious state, now in extreme pain and being forced into with-drawl which is life threatening. this is very unethical. He stated he had problems in the past with writing pain medication prescriptions. This is not my fault, yet I have had to suffer because of it. I would never recommend this doctor to anybody.
