Elise is an extremely kind and intelligent physician. She has cared for both my daughter and myself during some extremely stressful times. She has promptly eliminated all of my nearly fifty year old woman issues which were completely debilitating me with the proper meds in a very short time. She has lessened my cancer worries as well as diagnosing my daughter with gallbladder issues which were serious enough that prompt surgery was required. Our mutual family physician did not help us with these illnesses. In fact he is never available when we need to see him-Elise saw us on her clinic day and helped us immensely! We adore her!!

I came to Dr. Milrod with problems that I have been having since February. I explained to her that I was experiencing sharp pain during intercourse and that it felt like I had small cuts inside. She kept repeating that I wasn't due for a Pap smear for another 2 years and didn't seem to be listening to my problem, and wanted to rush through my appointment. She quickly looked inside me and said she didn't see anything. She then suggested I switched my birth control. It is 4 months later since my appoibtment and I have discovered that my problem is a yeast infection. If she would have done a proper pap test like I asked her to this problem wouldn't still be here. I am extremely disappointed with my first and only experience with Mr. Milrod and will not be seeing her again.

I was given Dr. Milrod's name from my dentist's receptionist, who was a patient already. I regret that I carried that number around for just over a year before calling to make an appointment. I had been with my family doctor since the age of 14, and was struggling with leaving him, but not getting the care that I knew I needed. In was in my mid 40's and things were happening that weren't being treated with any seriousness by my current GP. Upon hearing my symptoms during my first appointment, Dr. Milrod ordered a complete workover. The following were diagnosed within 1 month after testing: 1. Extreme low iron levels 2. Ovarian Cyst (large enough to warrant concern) 3. Fibroids - one of which was 9cm in size I cannot state how much she has meant to me in diagnosis and now treatment. I didn't know that Doctors could actually take my concerns seriously!! I am a working mother with little time...if I'm making time to see a Doctor, something is definitely wrong. I have personally told her that I'm in LOVE with her!! She is most caring and is a busy mom herself, which makes me suspect that's why she listens to her patients too!
