when my mental health was good, she was a good dr too - and i was a good patient. she decided to keep me as a patient, possibly because i was easy to manage - all we did was talk about meds and schoolwork. then my mental health deteriorated, she mhad no patience for me

I am blessed & so privileged to have been referred to Dr. La Croix. I am a very challenging & complex person who suffers from deep depression & anxiety. During therapy w/ Dr. La Croix, I have also been diagnosed w/ cancer. I would not have made it day to day, & through chemo without her dedication, knowledge & the most unbelievable patience & gentle kindness. She has a deep understanding & a natural at the complexities of mental illness. She treats & helps "you" for your individual symptoms and not as a text book patient if you can understand what I am trying to say. She is tireless, reassuring, approachable & available. A brilliant psychiatrist. There is light. Thank you

Amazing, dedicated psychiatrist who never gives up on the complexities of my mental health; trauma; extreme anxiety; reclusiveness. Dr. La Croix not only provides me with the expertise, tools and mindfulness how to cope getting through each day. She is very clued up on medication that works for one’s mental health and getting sleep. Without sleep one cannot heal or function. Her patience and assessing the tone of each session correctly no matter how many times I get highly strung, she soothes me and I leave the session with hope for the next day and am learning to cope - Thank you doctor. I am blessed to have her as my professonal therapist
