Groot former patient

Dr Groot's precision with the laser is not the greatest which in turn left me with permanent flaws that I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life. I've given adequate time to heal and followed his post-op instructions. It's been a nightmare from the start dealing with him and dealing with the end-result of the procedures he'd performed. Dr Groot was at times condescending, patronizing, and minimizing my situation. I paid for this procedure and invested a fair chunk of money trying to find a solution to his mistakes, but it's not fixable. I was told by 3 doctors afterwards that if I had seen them first, they would've told me to leave it alone. If he had told me that I would've left it alone, but he made it sound like it was a simple procedure. In fact he didn't go over with me ALL the possible outcomes if it failed. Now I spend a lot of time trying to cover-up with makeup and feeling really self-conscious about it every time I'm in public. The worst of it is the dark-pinkish permanent divot on the centre of my face which is still visible under piles of makeup. Everyday I fuss with it and I talk to people facing away from them so they don't focus on it. It's frustrating and tiresome, especially when I regularly wore little makeup before this happened. The way I look now has lowered my confidence significantly, considering that I was a very confident person before. This whole experience has affected me negatively in various ways. Do yourself a favour, reconsider and get a second or third opinion before going ahead with any procedures performed by Dr Groot.
