this doctor treated my mom upon admission to the ER , she has COPD and was retaing CO2 yet again and the possiblity of intubation was always present. I tried to talk to Dr Kutsogiannis when he was on the ward but he never came to my moms room and when I tried to speak with him as he was leaving the ward he pretended not to hear me call him twice and ran for the elevator. I had the nurse call him and when I tried to speak to him on the phone he repeatedly cut me off , jumped to conclusions (usually wrong) and continually put words in my mouth. He was actually screaming at me on the phone. He had the audacity to scream at me telling me that he did not know what my problem was I was so angry he said.I was angry because he was verbally rude ill mannered and abusive!I hung up on him !!!I also witnessed him be verbally abusive to the exceptional staff on the ward. This man is the rudest ASS I have ever met. He speaks over everyone including patients yet writes studies on patient care stressing that listening is important!!! I have reported him and his abuse to the correct people and strongly hope others do as well!!!
