Upset patient
Had a ruptured Achilles injury.. He suggested I do not do surgery because of some study they did at the same hospital. However, you must go into a air cast and take lifts out, to create a new tendon. He was to be taking these lifts out at 6 weeks to create this new tendon. He forgot or did not know? Student Doctor told him at 11 weeks why hadnt he been taking the lifts out. He acted shocked and said " I guess we should be taking them out" How was I to know as a patient if even the doctor couldnt figure it out. However, had the balls to recommend a treatment instead of surgery and was not up to speed on it or could not perform( most guys take notes on a computer for next meeting or have a file). Nope its all in this guys head. 60+ patients a day and hes got mental notes in his head. Now I have lots of scar tissue and ankle will not work or move like it should after a year and 3 months. Went back into see him . He acted pissed off that I would have come back to him. Then he says he was not an ankle expert and would have to refer me. OMG Why would you not say that at begining to protect your clients/patience. Unprofessional to say the least..

Dr. Longino is a very caring doctor and takes the time to explain what the injury was, how we could treat it, surgery information etc. When I was operated, I only had the best care from Dr. Longino and his team. I am very fortunate to have him as my doctor and I wish him a very long career.

Doctor Longino operated on my right knee 31st july 2015, I was the last patient of the day he was running late for his afternoon appointments put his head around the door in recovery aand said there was more damage then he thought , I was the only patient he didn't come on the ward and explain to me what he'd done I wasn't weight bearing when i left the ward which the ward staff tried to insist i was i ended up leaving the in a wheel chair no cruches available on the ward Doctor Longino hadn't sent the discharge forms to the ward, March 2016 I was discharged he could not help me he told me I was the unlucky one . One out of fifteen that was me he left a small peice of cartridge in my knee so I wouldn't need a knee replacement he took out a lot of miniscs left me bone on bone in some places , sad thing is was sent bact t, o him in march this year for left knee long story short leave your knee alone and go to America for Knee replacements !!! I am so sorry i was that fifteen person and you didn't want to help me
