Being "treated" by Dr. Daniel Lefcoe is by several orders of magnitude the worst medical experience I have ever endured. Like the proverbial workman whose only tool is a hammer, so every problem looks like a nail; Lefcoe appears obsessed with pigeonholing patients into a handful of 'pet' diagnoses; if you're not "bi-polar" when you walk through the door, give him a few minutes; he'll figure out a way of diagnosing you as suffering from the condition. This goes beyond simply "not coddling" the patient, or expecting them to hold up their end of the therapeutic relationship; the man is arrogant and dismissive in his demeanour. In the limited number of contacts I had with this doctor; the bottom of the barrel was reached during one appointment when I unwisely (in this context) agreed to allow a student to sit in on the session. Lefcoe appeared far more interested in creating a favourable impression on the attractive young female intern than anything else. In my opinion this man should not be a psychiatrist.

This person is an inconsiderate, unprofessional, biased, and inhuman example of what one person that only studies medicine to get a big paycheck is capable, or rather incapable, of assisting a patient in true need of help. This person is capable of diagnosing the absurd to improve his self-esteem. I do not wish to speak with such being ever again.

One of His Former Patients
I'm commenting to simply reaffirm the other negative assessments of this individual's psychiatric "skills". The real mystery is how this guy ended up in a branch of medicine, more than any other, that requires genuine "people skills". He's rude, arrogant and despite his training appears to have no idea whatsoever what an absolutely incompetent diagnostician he is. Avoid at all costs. You'd be better off seeking treatment from a veterinarian.

Why is this individual still employed? He uses any and all opportunity to flirt which goes beyond the realm of professionalism. He treated me,without success, 30 years ago and to see this wretched idiot still walk the halls of London hospitals makes me want to vomit. He has gone well past the point of appropriate behaviour as far as doctor/patient association. Why is this person allowed to still practice? He remains me of that low-life Lyn Frelick who is, guess what?, hiding on the other side of this earth. Give Dan Leflore a one-way ticket to join that unfortunate rag. They dough deserve one another.

Avoid this dr. He should not be practicing. Especially in the field of mental health. I wouldn't let this passionless hack look at my stubbed toe. It takes a certain kind of person to deal with people suffering psychological problems. Someone who is compassionate, willing to listen and has a general humanity about them. Dr lefcoe has none of these qualities. Avoid this man. I have since found help with drs who care and I'm feeling a lot better. No thanks to this guy.
