Doug

Saw him for a colenoscopy. Quick, professional, don't want to see him again, but would see him again.

I was referred to Dr. Cort by my family doctor to determine what is causing pain in my rectum suspected to be a fisure. First visit the hospital did not have all of the proper equipement to examine me so it was a wasted trip as the examination could not be completed. Second trip they had now gotten the proper eqipement and I was diagnosed with a fisure but now the doctor wants to do a colonoscopy before fixing the fisure. No one seems to care that the prep to do a colonoscopy may really tear my rear end up and in fact make the problem I have worse. I have been told that is the chance I will have to take. I have been refused to be put to sleep to actually go in and have a good look at what may be my rectal problem but instead am told unless I have the colonoscopy I need to find another surgeon. I believe Dr. Cort is probably a very good doctor from the referrals I received but in my case I think I will have a bigger problem by doing the colonoscopy so I'm very disappointed that the Dr will not go in and fix my problem without doing another procedure that may do more damage to find out if I have IBS or colon cancer both of which I have no symptoms. No blood in stool and eliminate on a regular basis.
