After several medical appointments with my mother and several in emergency, Dr. Colin Lackner was very professional in his willingness to help and assist to get my mother the medical attention and services in place that she required prior to her diagnosis. As I was unable to escort my mother to the hospital this particular evening, she went by ambulance and the communication between myself and Dr. Lackner was very clear and professional. He came up with a plan of care and conveyed that to me and asked for my opinion. I thought that was very compassionate and caring of him to take time to review her past 2 months of medical history and I still felt apart of her care although I was not present.

HAD A PROBLEM WITH RAPID HEART BEAT FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS AND WITH TESTS FROM DOCTORS AND EVEN A HEART DOCTOR WHO AFTER ECO, STRESS TEST TOLD ME YOUR HEART IS FINE SO GO HAVE A GOOD LIFE. WHICH I SAW THE HEART DOCTOR 7 YEARS AGO AND HAD TO GO TO HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE SINCE FOR THE SAME PROBLEM SHE SAID I WAS FINE. HAD TO CALL THE AMBULANCE APRIL 9, 2015 FOR THE SAME PROBLEM I SAW DR. LACKNER AND HE KNEW WHAT IT IS AND GETTING ME TREATMENT. BEST BED SIDE MANNER WHICH MADE ME FEEL RELAXED WHICH REALLY HELPED ME FROM BEING SCARED.

My son has been seen in Owen Sound Hospital Emergency Department by Dr. Lackner who was very efficient, thoroughly knowledgeable, gave good advice and above all, carried out his duties in a very professional manner which we really appreciated. Today, my very elderly mother has been seen in Emergency Department Owen Sound Hospital and once again, Dr. Lackner has handled her ailment in a thorough and knowledgeable manner as well as taking time to relate to my, the caregiver, what to expect and what he can do for us. I am thoroughly impressed. To date, he is the only Owen Sound MD we have visited who has demonstrated a professional and dedicated knowledge of the various complaints and we like his bedside manner very much! ***** We (4 of our family) rate him as excellent! Kudos to Dr. Lackner.

I was very fortunate to have this fine young Doctor care for me at the Emerg.Dept in Owen Sound on December 20th. He was very knowledable, very informed, very easy to talk to and wasted no time in getting me booked in for a CT Scan. Certainly a big credit to our Wonderful Hospital here in Owen Sound.
