I've been reading comments from people who have had Dr. Wayda for some time and I'm deeply disturbed that such nasty things are said about her. I feel that those of you who said those nasty things do not know how to talk to a doctor. Doctors are not mind readers and if you cannot describe your symptoms properly, how can a diagnosis be made. As far as paperwork goes, I'd put the blame on the staff. They are the ones who deal with the phones and it's up to them to make sure Dr. Wayda get's all the info. There is no reason in the world why a Dr. would hold back care. It doesn't make sense and those who said all the nasty things, shame on you. Dr. Wayda is very busy. I've found her to be caring and helpful. And yes, her office is closed certain days and times. The staff may be overwhelmed with the influx of patients. And yes, they should be more aware and take care of their part so Dr.Wayda can prioritize. I don't know of any doctors office that you can call and get in right away. That's why we have emergency and walk in clinics. It's unreasonable to think you can get in just like that. We all think our medical problems are worse than anyone else's and in this society where we all want instant gratification, you can't expect that in a private practice. It's unreasonable. So if you are acting nasty, you obviously will get some nasty back. Dr. Wayda is caring, and goes the extra mile for you, but it is always up to you to know how to advocate for yourself and of course you can't go in with 10 complaints. How is she suppose to handle all that. So put the blame where it lies. Either you don't make sense with what you tell her or you cannot say what exactly is the problem or her staff is not understanding your urgency. Stop bad mouthing until and unless you are in her shoes!
