I brought both my daughters in to see Dr Ung. She was referred by my excellent pediatrician. She seemed annoyed to see my 2 girls, which is odd because she is a pediatric dermatologist. Since I come from NY, I am used to getting an all over skin examination and wanted them done for the girls and for myself, but she said that it was not necessary as Asians don't usually get skin cancer. I insisted, but instead of checking us over, she just said: what mole concerns you? My dermatologist in NY wore microscope headgear and check you all over and tell you what he would be concerned about. I don't believe this is due to Canada healthcare. This is about the Dr.
