Dr. Engel is everything you're looking for in a general surgeon. He is always helpful and answers your questions with patience and kindness. You will never feel like you're being a burden. You will always know that you are in good hands because he is very skillful and has a great deal of experience. Both surgeries that Dr. Engel performed on me were perfect. With the first one (lumpectomy), I felt a little nervous because I didn't know what to expect but I had nothing to worry about because everything went great. The second surgery (partial mastectomy), I had no anxiety whatsoever because I knew everything would be okay. I now have follow-ups every six months for a little while just so Dr. Engel can make sure there are no recurrences. Dr. Engel is truly one of a kind. I have never known any other doctor who cares about their patients as much as he does his. He is the absolute best doctor ever.
