I too have been seeing Dr. Flamer for over a year. I too spent $500 which was not covered. I feel Dr. Flamer is very knowledgeable on bioidentical hormones. I will also say feel much better after being under her care for a year. But, I must say, there is this constant feeling when I am in my 15 min appointment that she is constantly checking her watch and ushers me out right on the dot! But not before asking for my visa to pay for additional tests, or suggesting a $400 weight loss program! It feels very much like a money making operation. And the worst is she has now just upped her fees!! I agree also that I have never met Karen, i have never seen a receptionist and there is never another person in the waiting room? Very unusual. A lot more genuine interest in your patients and a lot less money grabbing!

I have been seeing Dr Flamer for almost a year. I was lied to by her assistant (Karen) someone I have never met but always spoken with on the phone. They charge $500 a year and say you can get it back through insurance under homiopathic deductions (Dr Flamer is not a registered ND) also they want more money for further tests and to start you on a weightloss program. When you decline, you are treated poorly and your phone calls are not returned. I have yet to speak with the Doctor on the phone (something they said I could do unlimited). This whole set up is a rip off. They say they are busy and have a huge practice I have yet to see another patient at their office and there isn't even a receptionist (not sure who or where this Karen person is) I think Karen is the "sales" person. So upset thinking of complaining to the College of Physicians and Surgeons !!
