I had a consultation with Brian virtually over the computer from a walk in clinic located in Peterborough on Wednesday, April 5. I was suffering from strep throat which I told him I had. He said that what I had was viral. I disagreed with him because I've had strep throat in the past and this was the exact same symptoms as I had then. He told me that I had to go see a doctor. I told him that's what I'm doing. He said no, you have to go see a doctor at a walk in clinic so that I can have a throat swab done. I told him that I'm currently sitting in a walk in clinic and this is all we have available to people like myself who don't have a doctor. He then faxed a requisition for me to have a throat swab done. I then went to a lab to get the swab done, but the requisition wasn't filled out correctly. Therefore, they couldn't get it done. Many thanks Brian for all the aggravation that you cause me. I hope to never get you virtually in the future, and if I do, I'm going to request that I see another doctor who knows what they're doing.

I have a sinus and throat infection. He prescribed me a nasal spray and a paper for a throat swab. The nasal spray I've had the exact same one before and it didn't work. I had to go back two weeks later for antibiotics, which cleared up the sinus infection. As for the throat swab, I can't do it myself, it needs to be done by a doctor, which he forgot about, since he saw me online. So no throat swab. I have infections and I need actual medicine for them. Each day I'm getting worse and this doctor is not very good at helping. I didn't want to spend all day in the ER, because I'm not feeling up to it, but I have no choice. If I could choose which doctor I could see, online, I would choose anyone but him. Good to know when you're sick, with an infection, he thinks antibiotics aren't needed or that I can just grab some random doctor off the street to do a throat swab. Clueless and I don't know he managed to practice medicine all this time.
