Dr. Minnema is a caring, personable and thorough doctor. I had been sick for months with an unknown infectious illness before I saw him. He took my case seriously and carefully listened to my story. He tested me for everything and asked me questions my GP had never asked me (I'd seen her at least 6 times in those 5 months). He sent me off to the lab (upstairs at North York General) to get blood work done and one of my swabs didn't have enough culture on it so the nurses told me to go back to his office after I was done, but Dr. Minnema came UP to the lab to take my swab. I had never seen a doctor go out of their way like that before. I have never seen a more capable or caring doctor than Dr. Brian Minnema. HIGHLY recommend.

I had a very pleasant first time ever,appointment with Dr.Minnema today. He was polite ,knowledgeable and spoke so nicely to both my husband and me. He was extremely thorough and informative,and certainly spent a long time trying to help diagnose my problems of long standing. I would highly recommend Dr.Minnema to anyone requiring his expertise ,and feel so very fortunate to have been referred to him. He is top notch! Sincerely Elizabeth Ashton

VICTOR SAFIRSTEIN
I first met Dr. Minnema when I was admitted to NYGH because of an infection in my toe. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner which inspires confidence, which was well earned. He very patiently explained the situation, treated me, and put my mind at ease with the situation I was in. I wish he had many "clones", they would be great additions to the medical profession in Canada!
