Dr. Bloomfield covered the basics. If I go into an appointment with very specific requests, he will meet them. If he needs to put any extra thought into my health care he is useless. He has missed several health issues (once leading to a life threatening hospitalization). He refused to consider referrals to specialists and refused to collaborate with those specialists once I finally got appointments with them. It is almost impossible to contact them by phone. The phone will be constantly busy and then suddenly go t voice mail because they are on lunch for the rest of the day. If it is very general basic care you are looking for (routine check ups etc) he will do. If there is a chance you may need more than routine check ups (ANY diagnosis or health history or any elderly patients) I would suggest finding a physician who is more up to date and able to handle more than general, basic, routine check ups.

Dr. Bloomfield is a deeply caring and compassionate as any doctor has come to when it comes to how he responds and respects his patients. Always listens to my concerns and has helped me deal with my psychological issues. I am deeply saddened he has retired although he has the time now to enjoy life to the fullest. Whenever I was hurting deeply always accepted a hug from me. Of all the general practioners he is without a doubt the very best. Enjoy your retirement Dr. Bloomfield because you have earned it. I will always think about you with fondness.
