I agree with the other comments (good and bad). Dr. Broster was kind, patient and professional during our consultations and he offered me great encouragements. Overall, I really liked him as a doctor; I thought he had my back. And then... I got a copy of his notes. What a narcissist! He took advantage of my vulnerability and my trust and he destroyed me in his reports. Not only did he diagnose me with a plethora of ridiculous mental health diseases and disorders, he never had the nerve to discuss them with me. Honestly, I can only laugh about it now. The worst part is that he never offered me a care plan and he blamed me for it in his reports! Folks, get a copy of your clinical notes as soon as you can. It will really help you decide whether or not you should trust him with your care.

I was so scared before my first appointment but Dr Broster put me at ease immediately. I find him to be very honest and caring and there have been no surprises in the notes sent to my GP. His memory of details and recall are amazing. I have been prescribed various medications in a search for the right combination. If I mentioned undesirable side effects we discussed them and either doses were changed or a different drug was tried. I had to accept that sometimes drugs are necessary whether it's for a year or for the rest of my life. I also had to accept that I have a mental illness. I'm still alive and that's saying something. I can't say enough good about his knowledge and care. The only negative is that he is very busy and because of that business I sometimes have to wait a little longer than I like for my appointment. If you find yourself referred to him consider yourself fortunate.
