The one comment left - I remember that family well- the child got the referral and care required. The comment about the scarf is quite racist. I travelled to Cold Lake in bad weather to do consults that day.

She seemed to be in a big hurry. She talked very quickly and acted as though we were wasting her time. She told us that certain things were too expensive for us even though she does not know us. We were excited to see a pediatrician for the first time to ask questions about my sons sensitivity to many formulas. She started to answer some questions for us but when she realized it was a complicated situation she said that this was not the reason for the referral so she can't help us with it. Then she said " feed him whatever you want". When we got to the reason for the visit, a referral to the head shape clinic which we have been trying to get for several months, she told us its too late because he is too old now. When we said we would like one anyway she told me to ask my family doctor for it. My son began to cry and I explained that we would like to get this referral as soon as possible so that we can stop worrying about it she agreed to do so seemingly to get us to leave the room so that she would not have to listen to my son cry. She did not seem to like babies. She wore a big scarf that my son grabbed at as he is 5 months old and she seemed annoyed by this. We walked away annoyed and disappointed. If you are looking for a baby doctor she may not be a good choice.

Dr. Islam has been amazing for our family and with our daughter. We see her to treat our daughter's ADHD. She is incredibly kind and professional. She always takes the time to chat with me and my daughter, and listen to her concerns and accomplishments. It is such a relief to work with a doctor who actually listens and has the patience to work through medications to find the best fit for our daughter. She is willing to spend the time, which is a rarity in the busy doctor world. For our last appointment, we spent an hour in her office with her! She has also been diligent in checking in to see how our daughter is doing on her medication.

Dr.Islam should resign from her position as a pediatrician as she misdiagnoses children wrong. Dr. Islam is a horrible pediatrician she nearly caused my child to die from misdiagnosing my child wrong not only the one time but twice in one year. My child had lumps appear all behind Childs ears and in creases all over body. Dr. Islam had prescribed ointment for the mysterious lumps. Stating the lumps were so to poor poultry intake. My child was later rushed to hospital where my child was diagnosed with cancer and the lumps were swollen lymph nodes. Dr. islam should go back to school or resign. I recommend that you do not go to the northeast medical clinic.
