We have met Dr Wiatrowska in the course of a renewed geriatric appraisal at the Royal Ottawa Hospital. She is kind, compassionate and has gone out of her way to be helpful. Dealing with someone affected with complex dementias is no easy task, and she has provided assistance with great attention to details. She is helping the patient maintain personal dignity while strengthening what can be improved. She has provided help for the caregiver in a practical and timely way. Dr Wiatrowska is just who we need to help us through this complex illness, and I am so grateful to her.
