Wonderful physician and a credit to the medical and psychiatric community. Just thought I'd point out that her work and training details have not been updated. She had completed a 5 year residency at UWO and was recruited to stay on as a staff geriatric psychiatrist.

Dr. Shan was thorough and efficient. She was also the only female geriatric psychiatrist available at LHSC and was very kind to take on one more patient who preferred to see a female doctor, despite having a full clinic. She doesn't rush patients out the door and takes time to really assess the situation. I, and i'm sure all of her other patients, are going to miss her when she relocates to Vancouver. I hope she considers coming back to Ontario.

Great geriatric psychiatrist who took the time to really assess and reassure my mother. She was patient and kind and didn't rush her. Dr. Shan is also very proficient and knows her stuff. I hope to continue going back to see her with my mom.
