Dr. Anushya Chelvanathan is an excellent doctor. To be a good doctor you have to listen! She does this and is most compassionate. She saved my life because she investigated a pulmonary embolism when I had other health issues. She recognized that I was not well. When you could have put it down to my sleep apnea, asthma or a recent fall (landing on my sternum), she did not dismiss me, or settle for the most obvious diagnosis. She checked me out thoroughly. The dx was a shock but knowing what it was and treating it appropriately was a relief. She made referrals to other specialists and once again if I had not gone for the testing I would not have known that I had pre-cancerous polyps which were removed! Again she has saved my life. I am so fortunate to have this incredible woman overseeing my healthcare...I could not thank her enough!
