Dr. Lau stood in the doorway of the examining room for about 30 seconds after we waited for four hours. My 5-year-old son had been assessed by the resident doctor, who then reported to Dr. Lau. Dr. Lau was clearly inconvenienced by our presence, and was shockingly arrogant, dismissive, condescending and cold. She told us to go back to our family doctor, even though my son has been ill for a month with vague mono related diagnoses. I have never experienced anything quite like it - and have never been treated with such utter disdain by a health care professional.
