Dr. Mai was the palliative care doctor for my sister after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. His care, concern and expertise not only helped my sister, but also helped us (her family) as we cared for her until she entered hospice. I cannot speak highly enough about him. During a time that was so emotionally and physically exhausting for my sister (plus us), he was the voice of 'pragatic calm' that was needed. He made her 'end of life' journey pain free, gentle and peaceful and for that...we are thankful.
