Michael

I had the misfortune of getting this evil woman at Western Hospital (Bathurst and Dundas) emerge Thursday Nov 29th. I had intense pain that she recognized but was unwilling to properly treat. I'm 54 years old but she spoke to and treated me as though I was a teenager. She refused to give me pain killers telling me that I would become addicted if she did. She said she did not want to be responsible for my becoming a drug addict! I told her the Robaxacet with codeine I had from the drug store was not working and that I reached the daily maximum and didn't want to take more. She told me she preferred I take more of that, than get addicted to something stronger. I urged her to look at my history. I have been to the hospital twice in the past 20 years and neither time was I needing pain killers. She said she was sorry for being paternalistic but she just couldn't take the chance. Today is the first day I have been able to go to work though I am still in quite a bit of pain. The past 5 days have been sheer he l l because of her. I'm not sure if she is simply terrible at her job, or if she is just pure evil wanting me to suffer. She was pretending to be so sweet through the whole conversation. I wish I had been more forward with her. I placed an official complaint at the hospital today. I suffered SO MUCH because of her!
