I recently visited Dr. Cheema regarding my allergies. After the "scratch" tests. I was informed I was allergic to several environmental elements (certain trees, ragweed, etc.) which I already knew because of years of suffering in spring and fall. I was also informed that I am not allergic to any foods (relief). I did tell him that I do randomly break out in hives while eating certain things and it might be preservatives or dyes added to spices etc. He just shrugged it off. I also informed him that I break out in hives when I take Advil liquigels and suggested it might be the casing or something I am allergic to. I have taken regular Advil for years without issues. He immidiately said...its not just the liquigels its ALL anti-inflammatory drugs you're allergic to. So stop taking them. I disagree with this as I said I have been taking regular advil for years without any reaction. After all this he prescribes to me (among other things) a nasal spray that belongs to the Anti-inflammatory family of drugs! Would not recommend him if I had the choice. Sometimes you cant help it. Its the family doctor that recommends specialists.

Recently Dr. Cheema incorrectly disgnosed me with a severe allergy to Tylenol, (Acetaminaphine) although I have been taking it regularly and successfully for arthritis pain for at least six years. He further assured me that I am no longer allergic to Penicillin. Scarcely a month later I was given Amoxicillin for an upper respiratory infection, and after taking 3 tablets I suffered a sever allergy reaction. I certainly would not ever go to see this doctor again.
