My family took my Dad to see Dr.Elfirjani in June of 2016. My Dad was in tremendous pain and discomfort from complications from internal stomach pain and back pain that he has been enduring for 2 years. Dr asked my Dad to lie down on the bed flat on his back. This caused my Dad tremendous pain, but rather then comfort my Day, Dr. Elfirjani said "He's o.k, there is nothing wrong with him, it's all in his head". I asked the Dr. out loud, "Does that look o.k to you", while pointing to my Dad. At this moment this caused myself and my Mom great anger, that the doctor could stand there and say to us, that my Dad is perfectly o.k. Interesting, when while my Dad is on the bed and the Dr. is pressing my Dad's legs against his chest, my Dad starts to scream in pain, crying out loud. And the Dr, says, again, "leave him be, he is o.k. He is just over reacting, there is nothing wrong with him" I have ever seen my Dad cry ever in my life, until that day when Dr Elfirjani so unprofessionally treated my Dad with such lack of care, patience and unlike what doctors are trained and educated to do. To treat patients as "patients" not $$$$$$ on there heads. When it was time to leave, Dr. Elfirjani refused to allow me to bring the wheel chair into his office so that we could transport my Dad to Emergency ward. He said, "He's o.k. He can walk". Very strange since he was brought down in a wheel chair from the front of the hospital emergency entrance all the way down to Dr. Elfirjani's office in a wheel chair, because walking was causing my Dad tremendous stomach pain, so much that every step he tried to take he was grasping his stomach with both hands. But like Dr. Elfirjani said he is ok. What a joke. And Dr. Elfirjani had the odascity to write down on the paper we were to give to the Emergency Ward that the patient was "Uncooperative". The only person who was "Uncooperative" here was Dr. Elfirjani who failed to live up to the professional standards and code of ethics established by Canadian Medical Association.
