I am very disappointed with Dr Palancar. She diagnosed me with lymphoma merely with a ct scan in the emerg. I was mentally in a turmoil along with my family until I got a biopsy a month later only to find out I did not have lymphoma of the lingual tonsils. The oncologist I saw who is a teaching dr was very surprised with her lack of knowledge. You need a biopsy to diagnose cancer not a ct scan only. I had an infection. I contacted the Physcians and surgeons as I could not locate her and she when contacted did not even contact me to tell me she was sorry for the anxious diagnosisl

would a specialist please tell Dr Palencar that cancer can not be diagnosed with a ct that is worded worrisome of malignant disease She said she was positive I had it yes you have lymphoma. The Oncologist in Toronto after I saw her said that I could have left the hospital in Cobourg that day and did something to myself and he could not believe her emerg report especially when I did not have cancer. Just can t get over this . I was very DEPRESSED when she told me I had cancer and she has no idea of the impact her mis diagnosis had on my family and myself This complaint I would like to see posted in print to help other patients.
