Saw this Doctor as a companion to my elderly mother today June 23 / 14. The appointment time was 2:00 pm, we waited 20 minutes before we saw an Assistant who took pressure and conducted an eye exam. We then were asked to wait out in the waiting room and were told there was 2-3 patients ahead of my mother. It took until 3:45 before this inconsiderate, rude and arrogant Doctor made an appearance. There was no apology for the length of time it took to see my mother. My mother is hard of hearing but completely capable of making her own decisions and answering questions regarding her condition. My mother twice requested this ignoramus to speak louder and I twice asked him to speak directly to her and louder and I have to assume that was considered beneath him because he never did address her properly nor did he speak loudly enough for her to hear him. Unless you have a half of a day to spend in a waiting room do not make an appointment with this Doctor. He was not thorough, he did not explain himself and I have asked my mother to go back to the referring Doctor to make another recommendation as I would not trust the advice he gave in any way shape or form. Run do not walk past this Doctor and this clinic. If they are satisfied with this type of service I'm afraid they cannot be very effective either.

I have been a pt of Dr Kidy for at least 10 yrs. I have always found him to be polite & knowledgeable. Yes, I've had to wait some but he's always apologized to me - and yes, he he a soft spoken gentleman. I would not go to another Optomologist, for me he's wonderful!
