Concerned Father
Dr. Cadotte has been a huge let down for my family and me. My daughter has suicidial tendancies and all Dr. Cadotte has done is prescribe drugs to try and stabilize her. There hasn't been any attempt councel or investigate the reason for these tendancies. When I inquired about the side effects of Prozac, which she'd prescribed, she dismissed my concerns. Now my daughters suicidal tendencies are increasing and she's still waiting for the drugs to have an effect and we're 4 months into the Prozac prescription. To add to their unprofessionalism, she and her staff have changed appointment times and didn't inform me so I could show up for the appointment. Dr. Cadotte said she would inform me of the future appointments and I still haven't been contacted for the last 2.

Concerned Mom
My daughter did not find her visit with this doctor helpfull. My daughter stated that the Dr. laughed at her when she mentioned a time when she attempted suicide as a young child. Myself I found the Dr. did not take anything seriously and did not encourage my daughter to follow rules and regulations set by authority. Instead the Dr. minimized events that occured placing blame on the areas of authority instead of asking why the child acted in the manner that she did. My daughter was more upset after she left the appointment and never wants to have that Dr again. When trying to change Therapists as not every therapist will match with each person. Now my child has to go in and tell the Therapist she wants a different one.
