Dr. L. Hoffman is a Psychiatrist of very high calibre. He is highly professional and carries this demeanor throughout his sessions. I have been his patient for three years. He listens to the patient so carefully, allows you to formulate your thoughts and speak them, then shares his input in a tailored teaching manner which has an impact on the patient. Following my many sessions with Dr. Hoffman, I have been left with positive perpetuating thoughts which helped me solve problems. He is inspiring and has the ability to to inspire you to pick up your life and do as much as you can for yourself within your limits. If the patient feels he/she is in a dreadful situation, he will be honest and cautious and quiet, but still makes his statement in a learned fashion. In medical matters, he is always cautious, is an excellent diagnostician and does not judge the patient's health issues. He acts upon it accordingly and follows it through. He is truly a man of high intelligence and integrity and the Royal Victoria Hospital must be proud o f this calibre of physician, a gentleman and a scholar.
