Found New OB
01/07/14 - Incompetent doctor and staff. Office had results of my 16 week prenatal screening and promised they'd call right away. The date on my printout showed it was faxed to their office 10 days prior. Lacked tact and gave misleading information for a screen proven to give false positives. Gave no information or advice other than dropping the screen in my naked lap and referring me to a specialist, who after almost a week of torture, clarified the screen was actually good news. I barely inched over the cutoff into the realm of birth defects (less than 1% chance). All Dr. Beyani would say was "I'm just giving you the numbers", when I tearfully asked what it meant. Specialist referred me to a highly recommended OB team outside my area but well worth the drive. This doctor may handle patients well if there are no extenuating circumstances, but do you really want a doctor who can only handle things when they go according to plan? Not with my life, and certainly not my baby's.

Disappointed patient
I was recommended to Dr. Beyani by many physicians and was informed that my high risk pregnancy was in good hands. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Dr. Beyani was obnoxious, rude, unempathic, and disrespectful. Her receptionist are incompetent and arrogant. I would not recommend her to ANYONE! Beyani would not inform me of my results, continuously used medical jargon, “resolved” concerns by sending me out for blood work, did not answer any concerns or questions, and would not provide me with my file when I wanted to be transferred. All she would say to me was “your pregnant, get over it” and used the dobbler and sent me on my way. I know the Niagara Region is small but we aren’t that desperate to have an unethical physician practicing on anyone!

Hi. This doctor should not be a doctor - not in what she is looking at and dealing with anyways. I am 17 years old, first time I went to an OB/GYN, terrified, and I can say that she was EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! She told me there was nothing she could do before I was even examined, and all she did was call me fat, and asked me if I had been checked for diabetes! That's NOT what I was there for - she didn't even ask me what my symptoms were and didn't listen when I tried to tell her. This woman should NOT be a doctor! don't feel comfortable with her - I know I DIDN'T!

For years now I have been from doctor to doctor with severe lower abdominal problems. I was reffered to Beyani for a second oppinion. To soon be taken on as her patient. She flat out denied me my test results, said she refuses to discuss the matters with me. I went to her receptionist, asked for my files to be tranferred to my family doctor, The receptionist told me "no, these are not your files, these are Dr. Beyanis files" ... PARDON ME? THIS IS MY BODY! MY HEALTH! MY FILES NOT YOURS! FIRST I GET REJECTED BY A DOCTOR THEN TO BE REJECTED BY HER RECEPTIONIST? Ignorant. Un professional. Pitty all her other patients.
