I was admitted to the Juravinski Hospital on July 11/2011 in excruciating pain caused by cancer on my spine which was being treated by several different pain medications. Dr. Mantle determined that I was suffering from a condition called OPIOID INDUCED PAIN. After 16 days under his care I was relativley pain free, walking around, sitting up to eat meals, showering without supervision, none that I could do before I saw him. I am home leading a relativley normal life thanks to him. Words cannot express my gratitude for what he did for me.
